Dessert

I had the MOST AMAZING dessert today. It was day two of the pandemic vaccine production discussions at Case/Severance Hall.
This dessert was the most chocolatey thing ever.
I'll start at the bottom. There was a crust of chocolate crumbs of some sort with crispy small pieces of what was like the insides of a butterfinger and toffee mixed together. Then there was fudge chocolate filling. It was like eating fudge frosting right out of the betty crocker can. It wasn't fake-yucky tasting like they usually are. Then there was a swirl of fudge frosting on top.
Amazing.
Now, think of this- only about half the people showed up for lunch. Okay, maybe less than half. There were desserts at every place setting calling me. Uneaten. I left them there. I thought about sneaking one into a napkin or something and eating it tonight, but they had cloth napkins. It would have been a teeny bit obvious.
Our luncheon table was all weirdos. There were 5 of us from our Chemical engineering class there today. We ate together. Two were totally vegetarians. There was me who eats fish. There was a girl that was fasting today (she fasts every Tuesday.) and there was the chinese woman who sat in the middle "I eat EVERYTHING" she said. Then went on to comment that we're the vegg heads and she is the skinniest one of us all. I almost ate her dessert to piss her off.
